With twenty years of studying, performing, and teaching African music, and with a powerful family legacy of music and political action, Rhythm Village founder and director Gabriel Harris brings a unique aesthetic and mission to the stage.

We seek to unite multi-cultural musical influences while maintaining the integrity of their sources.  We convey a deeper message of cultural and social unity.  We understand and emphasize the importance of united community and moral justice.
